Leading up to the 2019 federal election, the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada sought to build awareness with both politicians and the public — that co-ops must part of the next government’s housing platform. With the support of 900+ co-op communities in Canada we built a primarily organic social campaign, to activate co-op housing advocates. This campaign helped people to spread the word, provided a hub website with free access to social media toolkits, custom tweet generator and printable posters and handouts.
I executed the unique branded campaign as the lead creative on the team, creating a campaign identity, website design, print pieces and social media posts, while also contributing creative ad, social copy and slogans.

CHF received local media attention thanks to participation and advocacy from many co-op communities, with notable members of parliament like Andrew Cash and Adam Vaughan taking part. Co-operative housing was included in the conversation, debates and platforms come election time, building awareness and education about the need for funding for new co-operative housing options.
